Odour=>Birch Tar Oil Rectified is perhaps the sharpest of the three main tar oils (including Cade and Pine oil). It has a powerful smoky tar/burnt wood aroma, as if a fire is lightly smoldering. It is dense and gummy. When smelled in its raw form, it is sharp and can save one of petroleum. It has a similar profile to Cade Oil. Other descriptors: phenolic, burnt, leathery, medicinal, aromatic, slightly spicy, burnt wood, coal tar, smoked meat or fish, and Wrights Coal Tar Soap
Synaesthesia=> fumes, bonfire, hillbilly, smokey cloud, campfire, charred wood, smoldering, bar fight, red neck in a truck with and beer dangling from the window elbow, cigar
Perfume-Uses=>Fantasy Blends; Leather, Russian Leather, Cuir Woody
Blends Well With=> +Cananga +Isoamyl Phenyl Acetate +Heptyl Eugenol +Guaiyl Butyrate
Tips=> As with most oils from the Tar and Smoke family, it is essential to dilute them to your specific needs as they can instantly overpower a fragrance
